Case Study Full Story

Uncle Wo always follows the principle of "make big problems small and small ones gone" when managing affairs of the estate as chairman of its owners corporation (OC). Mrs Mak, the newly-elected treasurer, pledges to contribute in improving the estate garden through the horticulture company operated by her husband. They are “actively” supported by Lau, the estate supervisor and the OC wishes to win the building management awards in the district. However, their dreams are shattered by the problems encountered and complaints made by residents on the operations of the OC in relation to the collection of proxies, procurement, common areas and staff management. They come to realise that great and concerted effort are needed to improve the management of the estate if they want to win the management award.
