Introduction

Integrity and quality building management is essential to upkeep the value of the building and protect the interests of property owners and tenants.  Corruption and related malpractices often inflate costs, affect quality and even jeopardize safety with the perpetrators ending up in jail for breaking the law. Thus owners' corporations, other building management bodies and their service providers should take firm actions to uphold the integrity of their members/staff and adopt best practices to prevent corruption.

This thematic webpage established by the ICAC aims to explain the relevant anti-bribery law, pinpoint the corruption-prone areas, provide practical advice on procedural safeguards and integrity management, and introduce the ICAC services and educational materials. Case studies on building maintenance financial management and daily operation are also featured to illustrate the related problems and solutions and help building management bodies and companies involved to put preventive measures into practice.  You are welcome to use various products such as toolkits, videos, pamphlets, etc and services including enquiry hotline, corruption prevention advice and integrity training provided by the ICAC.
